What is stretch therapy?Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) is assisted stretching that targets the connective tissue system (fascia) and joints, instead of isolated muscles. Certified therapists use movement through traction and a series of stretches to unlock tension in the deepest layers of tissue. The aim is to unravel restrictions in the fascia, relax the hold the nervous system has on the tissues and decompress joints by expanding space in the soft tissues.
